Hi everyone. I feel like I'm finally back among the living. Its amazing what 4 consecutive hours of sleep will do for you. I feel like a new woman. I've been enjoying this blog spot along with the rest of you but figure its time to help Matt add some new "blog". The week has gone well. My mom stayed until Wednesday to help and I'm very thankful she came. Matt's parents brought dinner on Thursday and Susan and Al Giesler brought dinner Friday night. In case any of you ebayers don't know it....Susan makes a hell of a homemade banana pudding. Thanks guys!
Wyatt has had a good week. He goes throug a lot of diapers!! Matt and I have been debating all week whether Huggies or Pampers are best. What our conversations have turned to.....!!!! We are enjoying our son so much. I don't think either one of us can get enough of him. I've had to start being careful of what I eat as it affects him. I've figured out no chocolate. What a sacrifice!
I'm very grateful that Matt has taken time off. Its so helpful to me and he is getting to know Wyatt. Wyatt is getting bigger and longer. He loves to eat. That makes him our son for sure! He still has his dark hair but it is lightening. I think he will eventually go blonde. He looks a lot like Matt. I'm enjoying the few months of being the center of his universe (well actually, its my boobs that are the center) because this little guy already has that natural affinity for his father that sons have. Pretty soon I won't exist except when he's sick! That's okay though. I'll take what I can get!
Again, thanks for all your love and support and phone calls. We have some many wonderful people in our lives.

Lis, even though you guys probably still feel dead on your feet, you're looking much better than I felt 2 weeks after the baby was born. The bath picture made me laugh. Aaron hated his first two "real" baths. Granted I gave them to him right after his first suppository, and then when he had cholic. I figured out the timing was wrong. After that he loved them. As for huggies or pampers, I'm not sure which is better. I figure whichever costs less because they wear them for so short a time that it doesn't matter that much anyway. I personally prefer pampers (at least the European ones, we'll see when I get there) and leave those ones on at night because I change him less at night.
By the way, does it ever happen that when he spits up it goes down right in the middle of your cleavage. For the first two months Aaron was way too good at aiming where it went: right in the middle of my boobs to pool there in my bra until I was soaking wet with throw up. He could even manage to do it when I was wearing a shirt without getting my shirt wet. Boys!
Matt!
I just got back from Long Beach (This is your favorite AM, Jeremy, BTW :) I wanted to see what had been going on with the little one!
OMG! He is adorable!!! I got to see the first pictures, but then he was still kinda slimy, so it's hard to say "CUTE!" when they are purple and look a little like a pod-child... But he is adorable!
I'm actually very jealous, and you know we are dying for children. If you ever need a sitter, call me, and Mike and I can spend a few hours trying to corrupt him :)
Every picture is just adorable... I'm seriously so happy for you. I'm sure you couldn't be happier!
