The "Gleed" in him is starting to come out!

In this picture, we are starting to see more and more Gleed in Wyatt. In fact, Matt feels there is more Gleed than Thornton at this point. He is starting to look a little like his cousin Colby and has a some features from his uncles and his Grandpa Gleed. It is so fun to see what he is ultimately going to look like!

Wyatt is trying really hard to get the "sitting up" thing mastered. He can do it for a few seconds but the abs tire out. I keep telling him he needs to start working his core for more endurance of this process but he is going to do his own thing. Welcome to parenthood! He got this computerized ball for Christmas and loves it. Here, he is 5.5 months old.

"I'm really not as serious as I look"

As you can tell, it is all fun and games in Wyatt's world. He is really getting into toys and playing. He also loves his Baby Einstein DVDs. It is amazing that a 5 month old can pay attention to a whole DVD....well they are geared for infants. He loves puppets. He is so fun to be around right now.

Our little poser!!

For all of you who have been asking about Wyatt having a portrait done, here it is. Wyatt and I braved the chaos of the Kiddie Kandids process....yikes!! Wyatt was quite the "poser". He was all smiles. The photographer had fun with him. Yes, the portraits turned out cute but as to whether or not we'll go back is yet to be determined. This Wyatt at 4 months.

Wyatt with two of his cousins

This is Wyatt with Wil and Mat Christensen. They are his cousins on Matt's side of the family. Mat Christensen was the youngest grandchild for years until 3 years ago. This just shows the age span on Matt's side of the family. Wil is a sophmore at Lake Forest College in Chicago and Mat is a sophmore at Park City High School. They both play football for their schools. So there is somewhat of an expectation for Wyatt with football. When I asked them to pose for the picture, they argued over who wasn't going to hold Wyatt!! Matt just told them to hold him like a football. They made it work!!

"I'm one happy little dude!"

This is a very happy Wyatt. Here, he is with his Aunt Lisa. He is so enjoyable at this age. Even with a couple of teeth trying to work their way in, he has always got cute smile. This was on Christmas Day.
