Cousins galore!!!

We got to meet my brother Matt and his wife Lisa for lunch on Sunday. They have 4 kids. Wyatt had fun with his cousins. Here he is with Garret and Austin. Give Wyatt another year and this little group could spell a lot of TROUBLE!!! The top picture is Austin and Kenzie. Kenzie is 3 weeks older than Wyatt.

We love Eileen!!!

Here is Wyatt with Matt's cousin's wife, Eileen Thornton. We weren't sure how that makes them related but it doesn't matter because we love her no matter how we are related. Eileen and Dick came to visit from San Diego last week. It is always so nice to see them. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met!

Wyatt's a fan of the bath...no matter where it is!!

Wyatt is 14 months old here and is enjoying a soak in the kitchen sink. Kitchen sink baths are fun because you can eat while you are bathing and there is a counter for driving cars around.

We got lucky!!

We were at BabiesRus yesterday and one of the KiddieKandids employees approached us about using Wyatt to photograph as she was orienting to her new job. So we got a free portrait.....granted he had messy hair and a dirty face but oh well!!! She did "okay". This is Wyatt as almost 14 months.

Here is Wyatt at 13 months. He is busy playing and is only barely tolerating me and the camera. Just imagine living with these cheeks!! They get kissed so often....he tolerates us doing it so far.

Right now, he is a fair mixture of both of us.

Wyatt and Tess

Wyatt and Tess play on the floor. They are about the same mentality right now...in ways. Tess is very good with him and VERY protective. But she also knows he's good for a few treats thrown on the floor here and there.

• Rolled over at 4 months-only from front to back. At 13 months he still won't roll onto his tummy

• Crawled at......well he's never crawled. He's a scooter. He sits and scoots on his bum. Very cute.
• Walked at......we're still working on that one. He's trying to pull himself up and stand now.
• First words: "mama" then "dada"...now it's "cat", "Tess", "wombat" and "tiger"
• Favorite activities: Watching Baby Einstein movies...especially "World Animals", reading...if we don't read it to him, he reads it to himself...he loves his books, going to the park and swinging, playing outside, walks in the stoller.
• Favorite toys: V-tech ball, anything that rattles, his train, his magic wands, his books, his trucks, his car that we push him around in.
• Favorite foods: he is a little picky. He loves chicken noodle soups, gold fish crackers and french fries. Right now he is really in love with juices.
• First organized activity: Kindermusik at 6 months and again at 13 months. Loves the musical instruments.
• Personality at 13 months: happy, short-tempered, good to play by himself, and a little shy around strangers. He is clapping, waving bye-bye, and is learning to blow kisses. He will not sleep in his crib but will sleep on a regular bed with no problems. Loves trying to figure out easy puzzles. He is very ticklish and giggles and giggles. He loves his bubble baths in mom's big tub. Absolutely loves Tess!!
